Wild Card Weekend was a whole lot like Wild Card Weekend ... however, it was SUPER! Everything is more enjoyable when you add "Super" in front of it. Take a look at: Mario Bros., Nintendo Man, Mario, and bowl. Sorry, I'm unable to keep this up. This was all an attempt by the Madden NFL 24 to make more money, so congratulations I guess.

We definitely didn't have to watch the Buccaneers blast at the Eagles in a rout, or watch the Chiefs defeat the Steelers during a three-hour broadcasting tribute to Ben Roethlisberger -- but we did and it was the most boring portion of the weekend.

The more you have, the less. The weekend's four games was already perfectly arranged. The two NFC, two AFC symmetry was there and it was a delight. Mut 24 coins VWe're now pushing this whole affair into Monday, and an unbalanced 3 game Sunday. I understand that raging against the machine is an unpractical enterprise, I just hope that the players will see some value in the coming CBA of being at risk for an additional week of regular season as well as an additional playoff game.

Let's not waste any more time in why this weekend was not a good one instead focus on the amazing things that transpired.

There were plenty of notable quarterbacks who were winners this week however none was more so that Josh Allen. Beyond the astounding stats, it was far more about the comment Allen said on the weekend over anything else.

It's not a bad thing, generally, I don't like the idea of"statement games. "statement match." The term is used to describe buzzword sports terms we make up for narrative's sake, but do not really reflect the reality of the athletes engaged in the sport. They don't bother about "statements," they operate to win, go on and repeat.

The specter of Bills against. Patriots is massive. It's big in the regular season, but huge in the playoffswhen you consider it as a wildcard. It's a rivalry that was formed in the midst of a fiery furnace, and the first stoked with the anger of decades of the Bills being second. In the past, we were talking about the shift in power in the division to Buffalo and the division shifted around mid-2021. as it became evident New England was far from dead.

For while it seemed that the Bills would be heading back to wait for their turn. The Patriots were awash along with Mac Jones midseason as the Bills fell apart, but then Buffalo returned to form in the midst of New England regressed. This made the playoff game an all-or-nothing affair. The door was closed the very first day.

Buffalo did not just beat the Patriots the Patriots, they destroyed them -- and that was a result of Allen's flawless game. Such moments are why the Bills have so much faith in extending Allen's contract the last offseason with a huge contract. If you are able to beat against the Patriots at home during the playoffs it's the ultimate sign of things shifting.

The most interesting thing about Allen's performance is the number of different weapons he utilized through the air. Allen completed 21 passes nine different receivers, showing an array of passing techniques that have was missed so many times this season.

The contract extended provides that DirecTV will pay a substantial fee in the event that the 2011 season isn't cancelled, and up to 9 percent more, at Madden NFL 24's choice in the event that the 2011 season is cancelled. From the total amount to be paid in the event of a season cancellation 42% of the fee is non-refundable, and the remaining amount will be credited for the following season. Op. 27. 71-72; Goodell Direct Test. 11. The result is that Madden NFL 24 could be able to get significant more from DirecTV for 2011 if it excludes the Players in the future, and if not.

Wait, what? Simply put, in layman's language this Madden NFL 24 was ready to go through a lockout. It also agreed to a contract with DirecTV in 2008 being aware that a strike would likely to occur. The terms of the contract offered players of the Madden NFL 24 an insurance policy of a sort, providing the league with the possibility of a continuous stream of money as well as a buffer, allowing owners to keep the lockout in place for as long as it takes.

Fans should be furious at both Madden NFL 24 for a planned work stoppage, and DirecTV, for facilitating its support for the Madden NFL 24's scheme. DirecTV was in favor of Madden NFL 24 as well as it's RedZone Channel and Sunday Ticket as well as Sunday Ticket, and bending to the dictates of the league in the 2008 negotiations. The league leveraged that to create a situation in which it would be beneficial to lock out the channels to the owners.

Seem fair? It's not fair, of course. Looking at it from an ordinary perspective: How in the world would an organization ever get more money if it chooses to shut down operations than it does not? The fact that the Madden NFL 24 negotiated its TV contracts in full knowledge of the fact that it was in charge of a work stoppage -and also securing streams of revenue that would not stop, and grow in the event of the lockout period -- is the clearest picture that we've seen regarding how the Madden NFL 24 planned for the CBA negotiations. It's not pretty.

With the decision, and the release of Doty's decision it is a public relations nightmare for the Madden NFL 24. The consequences in the Court of Public Opinion and at the bargaining tables, which is where it appears that Madden NFL 24PA suddenly has an even playing field are severe for the league. However, if it pushes both sides to be more cooperative in negotiating a deal then perhaps it's a positive in the end.

San Francisco 49ers defensive lineman Ray McDonald was arrested at 2:48 AM Sunday morning for felony domestic violence, according to an account by Damian Trujillo of NBC Bay Area. San Jose police have confirmed the arrest to Trujillo. McDonald will be the first player to test Madden NFL 24's new domestic violence policy. This could mean that the 49ers player will be facing at least a six-game suspension.

"McDonald was detained with out incident and admitted to Santa Clara County Jail on felony domestic violence charges," the San Jose police department told Matt Maiocco of CSN Bay Area.

Madden NFL 24 commissioner Roger Goodell recently admitted that he made a mistake the decision to give Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice only a two-game suspension for an incident of domestic violence involving Rice's spouse, causing the Madden NFL 24 to change the policy regarding domestic violence. Players will now face six-game suspensions for their first domestic violence offense, followed by an indefinite ban for the second.

According to Trujillo, the victim in the alleged incident is pregnant that could result in McDonald's possible suspension being more severe than just six games. In Goodell's announcement on domestic violence earlier this week:

A few of the scenarios that would be considered to warrant a more severe punishment could be an earlier incident before getting into in the Madden NFL 24. or violence with a weapon, or repeated strikes and when the offense commited against pregnant woman , or in the presence of the child. Any subsequent offense could be punished with a ban from this league. Madden NFL 24 and, while individuals may apply for reinstatement after a period of one year, there's no presumption or guarantee that the application is granted. These disciplinary standards will apply to every Madden NFL 24 personnel.

McDonald has a DUI arrest in the previous history, but has not had any off-the-field incidents otherwise. That does not matter with the new guidelines on domestic violence However, it is a concern.

The 29-year-old defensive lineman was originally drafted at the end of the second round in 2007's Madden NFL 24 Draft and signed an initial five-year and $20 million extension to his contract in the year 2011.

I've had about 24 hours to contemplate Home Team, the movie that stars Kevin James playing Sean Payton in the most ridiculous instance of casting for a sports film in recent history.

Many are wondering "How did this happen?" and the answer is quite simple: Adam Sandler. "Happy Madison" by Sandler "Happy Madison" is the film that Sandler is producing and if there's a single thing we do know about Sandler, it's that he'll have his actors in his films. Sandler is, in essence, the most wonderful friend you could ever be if they're actors, because he's going to ensure that you are always working -- even if it makes no sense. As, for instance, Kevin James playing Sean Payton.

The present is an exciting time. It's a time when Geno Smith can be unsuccessful before taking a snap in the Madden NFL 24 or Tavon Austin could revolutionize the entire field of sport before even taking possession of the ball during a Madden NFL 24 video game.

The rookies are expected to make an impact in a league where the fans and owners, as well as the front office need immediate results on the field. Thus, Smith and Austin along with numerous other rookies, will be thrust firmly beneath the spotlight for the next month of training camp as well as the preseason.

How is he handling the transition to the Madden NFL 24? Are you in over your head? Do you think he is working too hard? What is his way of spending his time off the field? This isn't football at all anymore. These guys aren't big men of the campus anymore. They have to prove themselves all over again.

Everyone will be keeping their eyes on Smith, Austin and other high profile rookies during training camp. But here are some other rookies to keep an eye on as training camp activities get going later in the week.

Tyler Wilson, Quarterback, Oakland Raiders

The Raiders' quarterback dilemma will be an interesting one to watch in the coming training camps. Terrelle Pryor was viewed in the offseason as the team's favorite after Carson Palmer's departure. But Oakland proceeded to trade for Matt Flynn and draft Tyler Wilson in April. Given his strength and willingness to make shots in the field, Wilson could endear himself to the Raiders' coaching staff in training camp. Flynn and Pryor aren't proven to be Madden NFL 24 starters, therefore Wilson is a good chance at starting the job.

Joseph Randle, Running back, Dallas Cowboys

DeMarco Murray has been a tool in the Cowboys offense when he's healthy. The issue is his inability to remain playing. Dallas has a poor offensive line as well as the insufficient depth of the running back slowed the team in 2012 after Murray suffered a fall.

A Oklahoma State player Joseph Randle, drafted in the fifth round of the 2013 Madden NFL 24 Draft, could provide an extra dimension to backfield. With an improved offensive line as well as Murray's ability injury-prone due to his upright style of running Randle might have the chance to be the best rookie. He has the straight speed and lateral explosiveness that will allow him to win in similar ways to Murray.Being Partners in this venture, our expectation is that Madden NFL 24 revenues will continue to grow , and our business will continue to thrive."

In other terms this way, in essence, the Madden NFL 24PA is basically saying that, with the league's revenues rising at a higher percentage than before it is essential that the cap continues to grow at the same amount. When this Madden NFL 24PA comes out with its own cap projection the figure will be a good distance from that of Madden NFL 24's figures.

The current cap on salary is $133 million. So even if Madden NFL 24's lowest amount will be realized, it's still a $5 million jump. As the Madden NFL 24PA being tense about the numbers however, it's safe to bet that the final number will be greater, giving the league a significant boost in the salary, without increasing the size of rosters.

There are a few teams who would like to see a serious increase in cap size including those of the New Orleans Saints. If the cap is set on $140 million New Orleans would actually have to cut down on $20 million to be compliant with the cap per Over the Cap. This would mean that the Arizona Cardinals, San Francisco 49ers and Miami Dolphins would also have to shed contracts to fit within the salary limit.

Harold's inconsistency scares the shit from me. Based on his measurables, he could have been a far better passer than what I saw on film. There were instances when he appeared impressive in rushing the passer. He did have a good power rush, and when he actually made the decision to use it, he was extremely successful in getting pressure on quarterback. Of course, I wouldn't think that a player with less experience to have a bull rush as their main move, but If it's working the way it does, why not do it? !

Harold could also be described as having a pretty good arm-over move, but the truth is, he didn't really use it often. In the instances he did use it, he was able to be able to beat an offensive tackle even if he did not get to the quarterback prior to throwing the ball. I don't know why he didn't try to employ it more frequently, given how great his success was with that move.

In the majority of cases, Harold would just kind of run into the left tackle and become stuck in his block on passing plays. He could as well been able to run an 4.9 as far as I'm concerned, considering how often the team he played with a speed rush. What's the benefit of being a super athlete but you're not going use your talent as a pass rusher but every once in awhile?

It was a bit frustrating to watch.

I'm just not thrilled that I have seen Harold use good moves in certain instances, and then I had to wonder why he didn't utilize them all the time. If he'd done that, he'd probably had a bunch more sacks. But he didn't. Which is likely the reason the team "only" got around 7.5 sacks on the season. This isn't a terrible amount, however it isn't the most impressive one.

The fact that it was a good thing in the event that he didn't miss so many tackles, including a few sacks. On the Louisville game alone, a game where he had two sacks, the dude flat out missed three other tackles, the last of which was another sack opportunity. Also, this guy has been deemed to be a great athlete but even when he comes scot-free he doesn't succeed in making the play?

That's worrying.

I haven't even gotten around to discussing Harold's not so great play on the field. I'm willing to admit that every once in awhile he came from behind and pushed the blocker and was able to play. A majority of the times, but he would either get hit in the face or was assaulted.

Nothing to like.

Harold also gave the edge to a running back on running plays a lot too often during those five games. That simply won't work. I'm sure he's thin in the a$$ but his blocking is going to be even better on subsequent levels. He is going to have to figure out a way to repair that shit in no time. A little more weight, some squats , and an improved technique would be my suggestion, but for today, I'm imagining Harold trying to gain an lead to Madden NFL 24 level offensive tackles and tight end is not a nice sight.

In all fairness, there was a time where Harold played some great play against the run. However, I kind of expect it from top players. It's not something you do once or twice that impresses me. It's the consistency of doing it every play after another that bring me up. Harold showed flashes in every contest against passing and against the run. But, you might also be able to watch any play from those five games where he would look like just another player.

That's not what you want to hear.

The good news is that Eli Harold is all of the issues I've experienced with him are fixable. Eli Harold already has some decent pass rush techniques but he needs to utilize them more. He has demonstrated that he is able to do a good job of defending against the run but he needs to improve and become more consistent in his approach. As he grows bigger and stronger in the Madden NFL 24. that could help him in both areas. He's certainly strong enough to be an outside linebacker in a 3-4-5 or 4-3. but he's also ideal defensive end so his scheme versatility should also benefit him.

The problem is that he's still not ready to make the team right now , and could not be ready for a year or so. It's going to take time to build up the weight and strength that he'll need to be a good player in the Madden NFL 24. It will also take time to get the technique right and to be more consistent. At some point, he'll likely to become a top player however the team that decides to take him in will have to be patient.

This is a great idea, however, most teams do not take a non-quarterback high in the draft unless they are expecting the player to be on the field immediately. I know that "everyone" has edge rushers, and it is possible that there will be an opportunity to take advantage of them at the beginning of the draft however, I'd be skeptical of taking Harold at this level. Hell, I might be hesitant to take him in the second round in order to be completely honest with you. He has some work to do and if I'm one of the teams that require immediate assistance from a pass rusher, I don't think Harold is the best choice. I've always wanted to admire Harold as a player more but I can't see it.
