I don't think spoiler tags need to be divisive. Right now it will become an issue since there are no definite rules about what is expected and New Horizons Items acceptable from the sub.

If the rules were more clear (ie: spoiler tags necessary for events that haven't occurred in real time yet or spoiler tags necessary for posts that contain items that were attained via hacking to circumvent timelocking) possibly users wouldn't accept it as a personal attack in their play mode when individuals asked they use a spoiler tag.

Rather than feeling sensitive about a sensed conclusion about time traveling it could only be a simple"hello that is contrary to the principles, see sidebar".

(Edit: it is fine to downvote this if you're a avid TTer and don't want to indicate spoilers or something. Just trying to offer another perspective in this thread that's asking for comments )

The things that make my own Reddit feed and also top the listing on hot following the sticky have been varied on topic so that I would not say there is an issue with shared occurrences that neighborhood upvoting and downvoting doesn't already resolve.

I usually think spoiler tags are absurd, but you would want to go further than just time travel if you really wished to prevent spoiling things people haven't seen yet. All out of current season content will require a tag weather it's an old picture from the image library or a new picture from time traveling will show new players thing they have not already seen. Plus things like the latest direct video clips would require tagging because it reveals new content before anybody gets a chance to view it in-game.

I don't see any problem with memorials. I believe remembering your loved ones is amazing and should not be judged as something dark or scary.

I don't think spoiler tags for articles that's been in the game since launch is fair. When the match is out its own out. Anything found in the game after that is fair for viewing. So far as New Horizons go, how will spoilers for content even work when there are just two hemispheres and several time zones? When items and events turn into naturally available in a particular timezone beyond the US, should that individual be downvoted for what's rightfully readily available to them? Northern players for example spoiled things all year for southern hemisphere players and not a word was said about it. However when northern hemisphere players have been spoiled about literally anything you never hear the end of it. Southern hemisphere gamers had been admonished all summer since we naturally had snow. Nevertheless few complained about Cheap Animal Crossing Items all the summer things that northern hemisphere gamers would show off. How is that fair?
