The public beta of Amazon Games’ upcoming MMORPG New World began yesterday and has seen a wave of players influx. Statistics websites SteamDB and SteamCharts both record that New World has seen over 140,000 concurrent players heading to the mysterious land Aeternum, and it is not the weekend. New World’s open beta was launched last week and lasted until September 12th, so we only had an early interest in the upcoming PC games before the weekend, and we are likely to see more players keen to dive in. However, according to the data from these websites, we have seen the peak number of players on the Valve platform so far is about 1.415 million. And many players have purchased New World Coins in advance to prepare for their needs from time to time, which allowed them to perform well during the New World open beta.

This is really dazzling and ranks New World’s open beta as the fifth most played on Steam today (by peak players), behind CS: GO, Dota 2, PUBG and Apex Legends, but lead other popular games, such as Destiny 2, Grand Theft Auto V/Online. So far, this number has not reached the peak of approximately 200,000 concurrent players in the New World closed beta a few months ago, but as the latest game test is now open to everyone, we are likely to see the previous record broken.

They set the official release date of New World on September 28. If you are keen to prepare for the public beta or important days, be sure to check IGGM’s New World Beginner’s Guide and Best New World Faction, Best New World Weapon, and New World Leveling Guide for some handy pointers on these links. And players can also buy cheap New World Coins on IGGM according to their needs. Look forward to the wonderful performance of the players.
