The main problem is not immature technology, but poor debugging during the assembly and installation process. This caused serious jitter during the operation of the benchtop wire edm machine. The crawling and vibration problems of the benchtop wire edm machine are speed problems and should therefore be started from the speed ring, since the whole adjustment process of the speed of the cutting machine is completed by the speed regulator. The time constant of the speed regulator, that is, the integral time constant of the speed regulator, is measured in milliseconds, so the servo movement of the entire benchtop wire edm machine is a transition and adjustment process.

The choking phenomenon of benchtop wire edm machine means that the motor is at a low speed, and once the speed is increased, it will vibrate, and the current may be over-current alarm. The reason for this alarm is that the benchtop wire edm machine work surface must have a large acceleration in order to rapidly respond to the change of the feedback signal, and this acceleration is given by the torque of the motor. Torque is the current signal. The large torque is caused by the large current signal, and there is a drastic change of current in the current ring, resulting in the phenomenon of overcurrent. It can be seen that the position problem of benchtop wire edm machine should be started from the position loop, and the speed problem should be considered from the speed loop. The so-called position ring is to study the size problem of parts processing, and the accuracy of the size of parts should be studied. Of course, the repetition accuracy of the part size is also related to the reference point, and we will discuss the reference point return problem later. The problem of speed is to study the speed loop and the parts related to the speed loop. The object considered in the size problem and the position problem should be the position ring or the part related to the position ring.

As a result, the equipment of benchtop wire edm machine has serious jailing during operation, and the guiding gap and transmission gap are not adjusted properly. Then how to adjust them? The specific methods are as follows:

1. Guide gap adjustment

Guide gap refers to the gap between the two guide rollers and the two guide sides of the front guide rail. The guide gap between the transverse slide frame (or torch drag plate) and the guide gap between the longitudinal slide frame and the longitudinal front guide rail is provided. If the guiding gap is too large, it will affect the perpendicularity and moving accuracy of X direction and Y direction. You can feel the size of the guide gap by gently turning the guide rollers on both sides of the front guide rail. In each pair of guide wheels, the inner guide wheel is installed in an eccentric shaft mode, and the shaft extension end for adjustment is provided above it. The guide clearance can be adjusted by turning the eccentric shaft. When adjusting, do not press the guide roller too tightly to the side of the track, generally use a gentle rotation of the eccentric shaft, when the guide roller is felt to the side of the track, and then reverse a small Angle, so that it has a small gap, and then the eccentric shaft lock. The longitudinal slide frame has two pairs of guide wheels on the longitudinal front guide rail, so there are also two adjustment eccentric shafts. The guiding structure of the transverse slide frame to the transverse front rail is similar to that of the longitudinal slide frame to the longitudinal front rail, and the adjustment method is the same.

2. Adjustment of transmission gap

Whether the transmission system has a large gap can be judged from the running noise. The transmission gap should be adjusted once the equipment is used for a period of time. The pinion in the transmission box is fixed with the output shaft of the stepper motor, and the longitude shaft of the big gear is positioned on the transmission box. Therefore, the adjustment of the transmission gap of the gear in the transmission box can loosen the fixing of the stepper motor on the transmission box, and tighten the stepper motor and the pinion together in the direction of the big gear. When adjusting, the purpose is to eliminate the gap, but the gear can not be too tight with the gear. The transmission box is respectively fixed with the transverse slide frame and the longitudinal slide frame. To adjust the gap between the gear and the rack, you can loosen the fixing bolt of the transmission box on the sliding frame, and tighten the whole transmission box towards the rack. Similarly, the adjustment is to eliminate the gap for the purpose of not making the gear and rack too tight.
