Diablo 4 is one of the titles that many insiders think will be featured in The Game Awards 2022, and it appears that the predictions were not a waste of time.

As each day passes it's more likely that we're going to be getting a major Diablo 4 announcement. And, considering that The Game Awards is now only a few days from now, the announcement could be made during the event. While there hasn't been any official announcement from Blizzard however, several sources seem to be quite certain about this.According to Insider Gaming, "this is still the case, with over 100 journalists receiving the chance to experience an in-depth presentation as well being able to interact with the game. It's believed the embargo for the event and the hands-on experience will be lifted on the 7th of December.

"During the program, Rod Fergusson invited all of the audience members to watch The Game Awards as they'll make announcements."
Blizzard have confirmed Diablo 4 is still getting Set Items, though you'll likely have to wait until after launch to utilize them in game.
Game designer Joe Shely explains during a recent roundtable conversation that reimagining sets in a way that suits Diablo 4 properly wouldn't be possible before the game's launch in early next year, although the team is contemplating the possibility of incorporating them into it's live services.

"As we've been working on the game, we realized like we could evolve sets in a different manner that is different from what we've observed during Diablo 3. We needed more time to bring them into the game an order that could work in conjunction with Diablo 4, so you won't see sets at launch within the game." Shely explains. "We consider sets to be cool, and we want to make them look good - therefore, we're looking in the future for our live-stream service."

"There's a staff legendary in the demo which turns the spell's fireball in triple fireball spells," former director of games Luis Barriga told Polygon(opens in new tab) in 2019. "The difference might be that, you know, a spell that's in use right now in Diablo 3 gives you bonuses greater than a thousand. We're attempting to design the game at present to be more restricted to cheap Diablo IV Gold prevent getting us into that super escalating Power Curve."
