Due to a strange death effect amongst players, one Elden Ring player died twice to your boss which they fought and killed. Being the level of the game it's, there are numerous ways to die in Elden Ring Runes, many of which are intentional, like those high-level players that die to Malenia over 300 times or once the game tricks the participant into activating a trap that kills them instantly. In other cases, it is usually an accident, either due to your glitch or some trouble with the game that creates death to take place, which is frustrating to many people players.

In Elden Ring, you can find locations generally known as Evergaols, which locations really are a gateway into an isolated boss fight stripped away from the open world. These are usually filled up with a decent challenge to the players starting, especially against foes such as the ever-humiliating Crucible Knights which might be good at stopping healing. There is one location called the Cuckoo's Evergaol, which houses the boss fight for Bols, Carian Knight, a towering giant that slams and bashes the participant, with long wind-ups to attacks that heavily punish the participant.

It was against Elden Ring's Bols, Carian Knight that it one player discovered their double death. In a post on r/Eldenring, user monkeybusiness91 uploaded a relevant video wherein they can be facing off resistant to the boss. They are doing well, getting behind Bols to fight him like many recommend until they obtain a bit too greedy during one combo, swinging equally as Bol stomps with them. Both attacks connect, and in addition, they both die, giving the gamer the victory while still needing to be teleported to the nearest Stake of Marika. When they do, following revive animation plays, they suddenly die again.

Thankfully, the poster didn't lose their runes out of this strange encounter, though others weren't so lucky. In the comments, even though many were making jokes such as the poster themselves did, calling it a hit the ground with FromSoftware's previous game Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, other players mentioned that they can also come upon this strange double death effect. Despite all of these other occurrences, no one seems to know what causes them.

Players should be careful in Elden Ring, to be too greedy some players can finish up losing the ball player runes, whether or not they win. Glitches are already the cause of many deaths or frustrations throughout playthroughs, be it an enemy being able to address through walls or Malenia's flower trapping players in. In games like Elden Ring, there is not any such thing to be too careful.
