I am not exactly sure when the event is functioning as planned. Right now, Stormwind is absolutely overrun with Wow gold classic ghouls which are rampaging through the streets and slaughtering everything that goes. The auction house, vendors, and even the bank are unusable--which may be frustrating for gamers who, once the event is actually reside, are just trying to go about their day to day company.

Over on the WoW subreddit, players have also found ways to bring the zombie infestation outside capital cities, making whole regions of Azeroth uninhabitable. It's amusing to see how much this mirrors a real zombie plague, as slain players and NPCs both transform into ghouls so their numbers are constantly growing.

Fortunately, WoW game designer Jeremy Feasel confirmed the zombie invasion part of the event will only be busy for a couple of hours throughout the day instead of all the time. I'm actually a bit disappointed with that, frankly, because I believe it would be fun to find an all-out, 24/7 invasion which players need to try and contain--something similar to World of Warcraft's infamous Corrupted Blood event.

The Scourge Invasion is just 1 portion of Shadowlands' pre-launch event. Players may also venture into the frigid wastes of Northrend to battle bosses and make strong loot, and there is also a new narrative quest to test out.

Otherwise, you can wait until the event inevitably launches sometime in the forthcoming months.

Since publishing our first story, YouTuber and Reddit consumer'KokushiGG' has published a new video showing off Ray Traced Shadows from the new zones at the expansion. You'll discover down the video below. As with yesterday's screenshots, we can observe the gap in Shadows is rather minimal with all the newest feature enabled. Allowing Ray Traced Shadows, however, will seem to greatly impact performance with FPS falling from 120FPS into 60FPS in some instances.

Ray Traced Shadows in World of Warcraft Shadowlands have now been allowed on the match's Beta/PTR, and the very first comparison shots have now surfaced on the internet.

Back in April of the year, Blizzard additional Ray Traced Shadow alternatives to the game's Alpha. Unfortunately, real Ray Traced Shadows were not allowed just yet and those from the Alpha were only able to view the new choices. According to the option's description, it"improves shadow quality together with ray tracing, which generates shadows with buy classic gold wow more natural softness, substantially increased precision, and out of other light sources."
