Please welcome Steph, an illustrator who runs, and Jordan, an animator, whose intimate wedding on 8 September 2018 happened at, Gloucestershire having a reception afterward within the renovated parlor barn at, only a short leave. To suit the relaxed vibe during the day, Steph considered eco-conscious, London-based designer Miina, for her beautifully-fitted lace gown.

I adore the batwing sleeves and also the exquisite detail from the fine lace. This brand is passionate about using sustainable fabrics and ethical production strategies to make its boho wedding dresses, ideal for free-spirited brides like Steph.

"It was the warmest long day of the whole summer and we had a magical day around the coast before wandering with a castle in the evening, where Jordan sprang recorded on one knee most abundant in a beautiful ring. It was perfect. We were engaged just for over a year."

Steph was raised next to the farm and it is rustic spaces were an excellent location for that couple's vision of the relaxed village celebration by having an abundance of British-grown, late summer flowers and hand-made elements through the talented bride.

Steph and Jordan decided to marry within the local church and also the bride hopped into a legendary Morris Minor to create the trip there.

"I was driven to church by Doris, a pale blue Morris Minor owned by my close friend Sophie. It is fun to bundle into the back during my dress with my father and chat away together around the way to church, totally putting us comfortable until we reached the aisle!"

Jordan was waiting in the church, dressed smartly inside a deep grey suit with a rusty bow tie and leather brogues. Steph entered the church together with her dad, as 'Air à Danser' by Penguin Café Orchestra played. I love these 'first glance' photos; they're so emotional and romantic.

"My favorite part during the day was meeting Jordan in the end from the aisle and him taking my hand. It was this type of sweet moment and reconfirmed all of the reasons I was marrying him."

Coming into the late summer day, Steph and Jordan were showered with petal confetti before traveling to Berry Farm, then their family and friends, in addition to a musical surprise.

"As a surprise to the guests, we arranged for Tom Cooper Music to satisfy us outside from the church together with his guitar and serenade us once we walked across towards the farm down a tree-lined drive."

The farm appears like the perfect place for an afternoon of relaxation, celebration, and chatting, with hay bales for seating, traditional wooden games, and toys, or even a limbo bar. It had been simply adorned with a lot of hand-made elements and also the guests were greeted with sausage rolls and doughnuts in the local farmer's sale to keep them fuelled up.

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"Saying that, don't get caught up around the details that don't matter. If you have an attractive venue sometimes simple decoration is better and you don't have to over-fuss.”

"You understand how much you can manage. Do precisely what you like and end up forgetting about pleasing everybody else."
