Shaun and I met when I started working where he worked in 2008. It was my part-time job whilst at university, but we simply saw one another every about six weeks due to his shift. We didn't meet up until the end of 2012. I needed boxes for any project in my classroom and I knew he was the person to ask. To cut an extended story short, we started dating right after.

He proposed on vacation in July 2019 at Iguazu Falls around the Argentina/Brazil border which is just this kind of incredible sight of natural wonder! We nearly missed the flight therefrom Buenos Aires once we were at the wrong gate and our tickets didn't work to enter the national park!

I had no idea what I wanted when dress shopping and was very apprehensive concerning the whole experience, as I didn't understand what style would suit me. I thought I'd go for any boho-style dress but was left with the opposite!

I find my dream gown at feeltimes.co.uk. The champagne color, the form which fitted my curve perfectly, the scallop detail, and the gorgeous train. I loved the vintage wedding dresses, also it was so different from any bridal gown I've seen before. The sequin detail and sparkle-embellished plunging open back were sophisticated and unique. Here

I felt like I was the only real person on the planet when I used it. Showing it to my loved ones, all of them knew it had been 'the one'. I felt it fitted the vibe from the venue perfectly. I wanted to allow all the detail to shine so kept my accessories simple. It's currently hanging in the gown bag in my spare room, and I unzip it and smile every single day.

We wound up having a very intermate wedding because of the pandemic once we didn't wish to wait. We wanted some other wedding inside a garden and even though it had been forecast to rain I was determined. The hotel phoned to suggest an indoor ceremony, but I was adamant to stick to the outdoors and become optimistic. Luckily around the day from the wedding, it had been overcast but dry. The outdoor ceremony was perfect and so the heavy rain came ten mins after we finished. It almost felt enjoyed it so was intended to be outside.

My advice for future brides is simply not to stress. I think I was quite a chilled bride, I decided within the last 14 days if I'd forgotten anything it can't be that important. We didn't do room/table décor, favors, personalized items, speeches, or bride/groom gifts for one another and nobody noticed. Instead, we spent your budget on staying an additional night within the hotel to relax and use the spa.

Special thank you to Lauren and Shaun for sharing their story around, you want you all of the very best for future years.
