On 14 August 2021 Kareen, advertising, and marketing specialist married Investment Banker Akin, in the Old Marylebone Town Hall, celebrating afterward by having an intimate, social gathering reception at Skye Gyngell's restaurant Spring at Somerset House. These beautiful images capture a myriad of wonderful contemporary, city wedding feels, that the couple's minimalist, chic, and effortlessly elegant style suited perfectly. Kareen wore an ideal ball gown wedding dress by FeelTimes – a stylish and simple design that beautifully captures her style.

"I purchased my dress online in January 2021 after having to cancel all in-person wedding gown appointments. FeelTimes was kind enough to transmit me the gown to try on, using the option of just spending money on return shipping if I didn't like it."

"I loved it so wound up paying for the gown."

"My dress was easy and timeless – an expression of our style."

We met at Akin's sister's birthday celebration where I would be a guest using a mutual friend.|

Kareen was accompanied into the beautiful ceremony room by her brother. The two were combined with the sound of 'Bluebird' by Alexis Ffrench.

Kareen and Akin were then married through the Town Hall registrar.

Akin's mother read 'The Marriage Creed' throughout the ceremony and also the couple exchanged rings from Cartier.

After the ceremony, the newly-weds as well as their guests headed to Spring at Somerset House to have an intimate wedding dinner, hosted around one big table.

"Our cake was made through the venue's pastry chef."

"We loved our day and all sorts of the lessons it taught us in planning it."

The incredibly talented photographer Rebecca Searle documented Kareen and Akin's wedding in her signature modern, crisp, editorial style.

We love Rebecca's photography – you can observe more of it here on Love My Dress.
